I was working at Decathlon as a yoga sport leader in Kolkata, While working there, I became passionate in yoga and thereafter pursued for residential Master’s in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA yoga University Bangalore. After this I have also completed the 500hr YTTC in Ashtanga-Vinyasa from Rishikesh. I love to help people and work with them. As a yoga therapist my first priority is to make the people healthy in a holistic way. I am expert in yoga therapy related to diseases and disorders like-Oncology, Neurology, Hypertension, Lung disorders, Psychiatry, Arthritis, COPD, Spinal disorder, Diabetes, Gastritis, PCOD, Renal, Obesity, Promotion of positive health. I teach different styles of yoga- like, hatha yoga, ashtanga yoga, vinyasa yoga, meditation, pranayam, cleansing techniques, restorative yoga, pre-netal yoga, kundalini yoga, bhakti yoga I have done an internship in Arogyadham and have experience of 2 year for personal sessions and group sessions. Apart from yoga I love to sing and play Ukulele and Harmonium too in my free time.

What you will learn

According to Bhagavad Gita, that whenever there will be the predominance of evil and decline of dharma, Lord Krishna will reincarnate to destroy evil and to save the good. The main significance of Krishna Janmashtami is to encourage goodwill. It is also a celebration of togetherness. The holy occasion brings people together, signifying unity and faith.

Lord Krishna is also known as Yogeshwar as he is the exponent of Bhagavad Gita, which is a Yogashastra. This day is a day to pay respects to that Supreme Being.

  • Anyone who wants to connect with their Inner Self through the Bhajan and Meditation
  • Anyone who wants to understand the significance of Krishna Consciousness
  • Anyone who is curious about these practices


This workshop is open to people of all age groups.


Requirements of the workshop:

Ideally, everyone should do fruit fasting/ consume very light satvic food the whole day and after the workshop will eat some light food.


Significance of Fasting on Janmashtami:

Krishna Janmashtami fast will always gain wealth and prosperity. The underlying significance of fasting is that it brings the soul closer to the Supreme Being. Thus, Krishna Janmashtami fast is associated with the attainment of ‘nirvana’ or salvation, freedom from the cycles of karma.


Shri Krishna Janmashtami Fasting Rules

  • Rise early and take a bath
  • Wear fresh/clean clothes
  • Offer your prayers to the Sun God and other deities facing East
  • Do Sankalpa (take a pledge that you will sincerely keep the fasting)
  • Keep chanting the name of Shri Krishna (naam japa)
  • Maintain celibacy
  • Donate food to the needy
  • You may feed a cow or a calf, or any other animal
  • On the day of Janmashtami, do not pluck Tulsi leaves from the plant at home
  • Do not smoke or consume alcohol
