On this World Heart Day, we bring to you an Iyengar style practice curated specifically for people with hypertension and who are aiming towards better cardiac health.
This session will take you through a sequence that is specifically followed by Iyengar teachers around the world for students with hypertension. The session will include Heart opening postures, Restorative positions & intensive postures to build overall stability & strength in the body whilst managing blood pressure levels by reducing the overall stress.
Participants will learn and understand the type of movements which reduce blood pressure levels, and how certain Iyengar style practices can help you manage the blood pressure levels and keep it in check.
This session will also be useful in understanding how to adapt certain postures that make it a safe practice for you, which can then be carried forward in your everyday practice.

People with hypertension or anyone looking to reduce their stress levels, and improve their cardiac health.
Props needed
* Crepe bandage
* 2 Yoga bricks
* 1-2 Yoga belts
* Bolster ( If available) or 2 sturdy pillows
* 2 firm blankets
This session will include physical postures, breathing techniques specially designed for those with hypertension and increased stress levels.
